Not a Phase - DTF transfer
DTF - (DIRECT-TO-FILM) Transfer- CLEAR BACKING CAN SEE THE DESIGN
-
275-300 degrees;
-
HEAVY PRESSURE 8-9 PSI.
-
Pre press for 7 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture;
-
Press for 8-15 seconds; start to peel slow, almost any DTF will allow a warm peel, but if it seems if its too early, its ok for it to peel cool-cold.
-
second press, you use a cover sheet (parchment, Teflon, or even a cotton cloth/t-shirt) to protect the design, press briefly (2-10 seconds) at the same temperature after peeling the film to fully embed the print, reduce shine, and improve durability, making it feel more like a screen print by sinking into the fabric. Using a towel (like a cotton tea towel, or flour sack towel- MY PREFERENCE-) or an old t-shirt can give a softer, more integrated look than just a Teflon sheet by mimicking fabric texture.
